Welcome everyone to the second HoH competition, Meowth's Vault!
Leafeon as outgoing HoH, you will be unable to play in this competition.
We all know Meowth has a stash, but the question has always been... where?! Well we started to snoop around after Team Rocket busted up our pokémon center to get some payback. This time the trick is on Team Rocket! Your job is to get as much cash from Meowth's Vault as you can!
Here's how this competition will work. Each pokéguest will select 4 coins to take from the vault. Each coin will have a cash value associated with it. Once a certain coin is selected by a pokéguest, no other pokéguest may select it. The player with the most cash at the end of this competition will become our new Head of Household.
There are a few rules to this competition however. You may only select a coin every 10 minutes. That means you make one post stating that you are taking a certain coin and can not select another coin for 10 minutes. You may >not< change what coins you have selected once you have made your post. You'll be given three pieces of equipment that you can use to try to find the most cash. You may only use each piece of equipment once. These pieces of equipment are:
A metal detector - To use this piece of equipment, PM/IM Oak saying you're using your metal detector on a certain numbered coin. The metal detector will not tell you the value of the coin you select, but rather will tell you which coin (either directly above, directly below, directly to the left, or directly to the right) has the most cash associated with it. If a coin around the coin you are using the metal detector has already been selected, it will not register that coin.
A lucky charm - Luck is an important part of this competition, but it never hurts to have some reassurance! PM/IM Oak to use the lucky charm along with 2 coins. The lucky charm will reveal what the cash values of those 2 coins are.
A scale - Gold weighs more than silver! PM/IM Oak along with 4 coin numbers. State what 2 coins you're putting on the left side of scale, and what 2 coins you're putting on right side of scale. The scale will tell you what side (combined) will give you the higher cash value!
