Woooo! I did it! I won HoH!
Ever since Poliwrath announced that Leafeon and Lopunny "are a pair", it gave me a reason to form an alliance with other players in the game. Even if Leafeon and Lopunny aren't a pair at all, Poliwrath put the spotlight on them, and I'm going to make sure the spotlight remains on them. The longer they're targeted; the less the target's on me! Now I just need a convincing reason to nominate them for eviction...
Other happenings
I've teamed up with Charmander, Tangela, Jynx, Milotic, and Gloom to form a 6-person alliance. We worked together during yesterday's HoH Competition to find the best numbers for one person. Unfortunately, since the alliance was formed during mid-day, some of the players had already picked their coins and used their equipment. However, with the help of a few members who were late to the HoH Comp, we were able to use their equipment to track down valuable coins that helped us win the comp.
As for other alliances, I'm not sure. I haven't really talked about the game to anyone else, but others have. It's so early in the game... I don't know. But if I had to take a GUESS, I would guess there are 2-3 other alliances:
- Leafeon, Lopunny, Celebi (1)
- Dewgong, Hitmonlee, Roserade, [Ex-member: Poliwrath]
- Celebi (2), Ninjask
Swingers:
- Mr. Mime
- Sableye
IF my guesses are correct (which, I doubt these are 100% correct, but at least it's an idea), we have the majority alliance. That's all the matters right now.
I know I'm going to start some drama with my nominations tonight, but hopefully my alliance stays strong, wins the next HoH comp, and we are all safe for another round.
