Congratulations everyone on making it to the Jury Phase of the game! For those of you who don't know, the next 7 players evicted will form the Jury. The Jury will cast votes between the final 2 to decide who will be crowned the winner of Big Brother: Pokemon 2!
With that being said, let's get on to the HoH competition, "Singstar!"
For this competition, each of you will have to find a popular song. You will post the lyrics to this song in your diary room. Now, that seems like an easy enough of a competition, right?!
Well I'm sorry to inform you that posting lyrics is not all you will be doing. After you've selected your song and posted the original lyrics in your diary room, you will then need to post modified lyrics to that song in your diary room. Essentially I'm asking you to make a parody version of the song you've selected.
To make a parody that will win this competition, myself and the housecalls will be asking you to incorporate the pokemon you're playing as into your song. You may choose to add any other pokemon references that you'd like, as well as general big brother references. The only stipulation is that your pokemon's name MUST appear in the parody at least ONCE. Funny, serious, vulgar, it's up to you what tone you'd like to take. What we're looking for is execution and a good parody.
The way this competition will be judged is based on a collective score from the judges. The judges will be ranking the parodies from their least favorite, to most favorite. The least favorite on each judge's list will receive 1 point. Since there are 8 players in this competition, the most favorite will receive 8 points on each judges list. The second most favorite parody would receive 7 points, and so on. So if your parody is the most favorite on 2 judges list and the least favorite on a third judges list, you'd receive 17 points total. The player with the most points will win this competition!
All submissions for this competition are due by midnight EST tomorrow. Results will be posted Saturday morning to give the judges time to rank their favorites.
Mr. Mime, as outgoing HoH you are ineligible to compete. Good luck players!
