Let's first find out who will playing in the veto competition...
Since Gloom did not pick a number, a number was randomly assigned.
Welcome everyone to the seventh Power of Veto competition, "Bomb Squad!"
For this competition, each of you will be traveling around the new Pokemon region trying to avoid bombs. Each of you will start at the location that you selected. Each player has their own "map" where the bombs are randomly located. This means that Lopunny's bombs are in different locations than Jynx's bombs. There are a total of >12< bombs hidden on everyone's map. The player who makes the most moves without coming in contact with a bomb, will win this competition!
Here's how it will work. You will each start at your starting location. That location obviously does not have a bomb. You will then make moves by posting in your Diary Room. You may only make moves directly to the left, right, up or down. You may NOT make diagonal moves. You may only make 1 move at a time. Rmemeber, moves can only be made to adjacent squares. To make a move simply post "Oak moves from square X to square Y." Replace Oak with your Pokemon's name. You may not move onto a square that you have previously moved on to.
Since you will not be notified when you come in contact with your first bomb, you will be posting until you can't make any more moves by moving directly to the left, right, up or down.
This is a difficult task, so we've decided to give you some tools that you could find useful :
Rescue scarf - keeps you safe for the next 4 moves. (Post that you are using this item before you make your next move. You will NOT be notified if you safely moved over any bombs)
Bomb remover - Select a box (4 squares that have their 4 corners touching) and remove all bombs, if any are there, from that area. (Post that you are using this before making your next move, you will NOT be notified if any bombs were removed)
Bomb detector - reveals if any bombs are in the area surrounding your current location. (Post before making your next move and wait until I post to reveal if any bombs are in the surrounding area. You will be notified how many bombs were in the area, but not their location)
