Hello everyone and welcome the Power of Veto competition, "Beach Scramble!" The players for the veto competition are... For this competition you will be using the image below. In the image you will find hidden letters. You will be using these letters to create a word. The player with the longest word will win the Golden Power of Veto. There are a few rules to this competition. You may only use letters that you find in the picture. If you only find one of a specific letter in the picture, you may only use that letter once. If you find two of a specific letter, you may use that letter twice in your word. You may choose one vowel. You may use that vowel once in your word if you can't find that vowel anywhere in the picture. If you find that vowel once in the picture, you may use that specific vowel twice in your word. If you find that vowel twice in the picture, you may use that specific vowel three times in your word, and so on. All words submitted must be >one word<. That means no compound words or hyphenated words. All words must be found on dictionary.reference.com/You have 24 hours to submit a word in your Diary Room. That means you have until 1:30pm EST Thursday to submit for this competition. There are an undisclosed amount of letters in the picture. That means I will not be telling you how many letters are in the picture. Good Luck players!

Can you further explain how the use of vowels works here?

I guess I didn't explain it too well :\
Basically I'm saying that I'm giving you the ability to choose a free letter. But it has to be a vowel. So let's say I find "A" "E" and "I" once in the picture. And I picked "O" to be my vowel. I can use all four of those letters in the word I make even though I didn't find an O in the picture. But I'd only be able to use those letters once.
Another example would be finding "A" "E" and "I" once in the picture. And I picked "A" to be my vowel. I could use "A" twice in the word that I make, but "E" and "I" only once.
Does that help?

Also since this is a speed week, please prepare a veto ceremony in your Diary Room in the event that you win the Power of Veto.
Mr. Mime, if you win the PoV please prepare a replacement nominee if you'd like to change your nominations. Also, please prepare a replacement nominee in the event that if one of the nominees wins the veto and takes themselves off the block. In the event that a player that isn't a nominee wins the veto and uses it, I'll be requiring you to make a speedy response with a replacement nominee. That means by the next time that you log on. Since there is a set end time for this competition, please try to be available for when the results and PoV ceremony are posted. Or if you'd like you may create a list where you write out different scenarios and who you'd like to name as a replacement.
